- Shading and Combination brows are brows that are filled in with a soft color that sits behind the brow hairs. This technique is done with a hand held tool and soft tapped into the skin to give a shading effect, or with a needle by machine method which will be more permanent, it can be lightly shaded or shaded darker depending on the look you desire. Combination brows are first microbladed with thin hair strokes then lightly gone over with a soft tap tool; this combination gives brows that naturally have less hair a fuller look.
