I perform two types of facial treatments: microdermabrasion and dermaplaning.
Microdermabrasion, commonly called microderm, exfoliates the top layer of the skin by suctioning off dry, dead skin cells and debris from the stratum corneum. The friction of the microderm tip helps loosen tiny dead skin particles along with black heads, dirt, and other residue. This is the perfect treatment for acne prone skin, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, superficial scars, and sun-damaged skin.
Dermaplaning removes the short, fine hair (known as Vellus hair) from the skin. This type of hair can sometimes be difficult to remove with wax. The dermal plane is a sharp, fine blade that removes hair and exfoliates the skin at the same time. This pampering skin treatment leaves you feeling silky smooth with little to no redness afterwards. I cleanse the skin and apply a hydrating mask followed by a daytime moisturizer—this is by far more relaxing then a facial wax. You will leave your treatment with a glowing, fresh face feeling happy and clean.
