I perform three types of facial treatments: microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and microneedling.
Microdermabrasion, commonly called microderm, exfoliates the top layer of the skin by suctioning off dry, dead skin cells and debris from the stratum corneum. The friction of the microderm tip helps loosen tiny dead skin particles along with black heads, dirt, and other residue. This is the perfect treatment for acne prone skin, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, superficial scars, and sun-damaged skin.
Dermaplaning removes the short, fine hair (known as Vellus hair) from the skin. This type of hair can sometimes be difficult to remove with wax. The dermal plane is a sharp, fine blade that removes hair and exfoliates the skin at the same time. This pampering skin treatment leaves you feeling silky smooth with little to no redness afterwards. I cleanse the skin and apply a hydrating mask followed by a daytime moisturizer—this is by far more relaxing then a facial wax. You will leave your treatment with a glowing, fresh face feeling happy and clean.
Microneedling , also known as collagen induction therapy stimulates the body’s natural wound healing process resulting in cell turnover and increases collagen and elastin production. These micro fine needles create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin with a hand held device that uses a disposable round cartridge . This minimally invasive treatment is incredibly affective for reducing acne scares, deep wrinkles, fine lines ,pigmentation, sun damage, and transforming skin by tightening, and giving it a more luminous glow.
